Gorillato S1 | The heart of the selection
With Gorillato S1, we're bringing you the foundation of Urban Seedlab as an exclusive selfing release. It's the essence of our second drop —the line we've poured the most work into, and which, as a pollen donor, refines two other highlights of our current collection (Toxilla & K40). Through self-pollination (S1) of our selected Gorillato female, we've combined the legendary qualities of GG4 (Gorilla Glue #4) and Gelato 33 into a stable line. If you want to know where the massive frost and monstrous gas of our current favorites come from, you'll find the answer here.
Genetic basis: Gorillato x Gorillato (Selfed)
Gorillato S1 is an invitation to all pheno-hunters who want to work at the source of genetics. As an S1 line, it offers an exciting range: you can find phenotypes that lean extremely towards the gassy, earthy GG4 , or perfectly embody the compact, light green structure and extreme resin coating of Gelato 33. However, most plants fall into our desired "sweet spot": rock-hard, light green buds that glisten with resin so much they appear almost white under the light.
🧬 The aroma: Pure gas meets creamy dessert
Opening a bottle of Gorillato delivers a frontal assault of fuel and pine , rounded off in a heavy, creamy sweetness. It's precisely this monstrous gas profile that defines the DNA of this e-liquid . Upon consumption, an oily, almost sticky film lingers on the palate – a clear indication of the extreme terpene density we've captured in this S1 line.
✅ Performance and Urban Seedlab Grower Tip
Grower expertise: Gorillato S1 begins producing resin very early in flowering. To preserve the full potential of the terpenes, we recommend gentle drying at a constant 15-16°C . The Gorillato S1 flowers usually retain their light, frosty green color, which emphasizes the extreme contrast with the bright orange stigmas (hairs) and creates a classic, clean look.
