The foundation is our selected Banana Butter Cups (BBC) female, known for its extreme frost. It was pollinated by our proven Gorillato Reversal (GG4 x Gelato 33). The name K40 is a tribute to the radioactive potassium isotope that naturally occurs in bananas - and that is exactly how the plants present themselves: they radiate under the light with an almost unnatural trichome density.

The K40 offers an exciting hunt for the perfect phenotype. Most offspring show a strong Gorillato dominance: they grow robustly, are easy to care for, and deliver up to 600g/m² under optimal conditions.

However, those looking for the ultimate BBC phenotype should pay attention to the fine details: These plants can be recognized early on by their distinctly narrower leaves and a characteristic Reversed Triangle structure (wider towards the top). While these specimens yield slightly less mass, they compensate for this with an even more extreme layer of resin and the pure aroma of banana peels.
